Window noise

    Has anyone noticed that with the front windows down anywhere between all or none, they make a significant amount of wind shear noise, even at low speeds? As long as the window is all the way down or up, it's not an issue...

    actually i think there was some mention of that in another thread. that has been a problem in several cars i have owned, including my current buick rendezvous.

    on my avanti, on the other hand, which is based on a 1963 design, you can open the window as much or as little as you want with almost no noise!

    i'm sure there are engineers on here with some explanations, and there are also some add-on wind deflectors that were discussed that might help
