Will this Alternative Wheel/Tyre Combo Fit ?

So many choices, I read up a bit to learn the important geometries and language. Snarfed from tirerack, this picture is worth a thousand words:



I think I'll go measure the gaps at the important rub points for my stock setup, and that will calculate out to maximum deviations using the stock as a reference.

I'll later add a short tutorial explaining tyre geometry. Completely left unstated are how a different wheel/tyre combo affects dynamics -- that is *way* beyond my scope, but I would be very interested to read a companion thread on the topic for dummies.

Please add expertise, I'll include it in this OP. Refrain from discussing personal setups or preferences here, the thread is only meant to inform dummies like me if it will fit, not whether it looks good
