My daughter, who lives in SD and works in LaJolla is looking for a good, convenient and reliable Toyota dealer service shop. I know lots of our members are located there, any suggestions?

Kearny Mesa Toyota has a large, clean, modern service area and also has trained Prius techs. I haven't had any problems with them. I'll be taking my Prius there for the steering shaft replacement.

From La Jolla they are 5 south, 52 east, 163 south. Get off on Clairemont Mesa and take a left on Kearny Mesa.

Based on some of the other threads, I would be cautious about Mossy Toyota. My experience there has been marginal, but there have been some really bad horror stories with that dealership.

My experience with the Kearny Mesa people have been pretty good so far. I can't say anything about their service department so far, but their sales staff have been pretty good.

Kearny Mesa is definitely a pretty good group. Almost all those dealers along that road are all owned by the same subsidiary therefore, they always try to stay in your best interests for any future "upgrades." I miss San Diego although it was freaking hot this past weekend.
