There are numerous threads for hitches. I have the TorkLift Ecohitch, partly because it is the least conspicuous available, partly because it is local to me. But also being the most expensive, many folks skip it.
    Torklift 2 inch hitch
    Torklift hitch with Thule racks
any 2" receiver hitches out there?
Torklift Eco Stealth Hitch for Prius

Note that different Prii models and generations need different part numbers from Torklift.

(I'm having trouble pasting links. If links are missing, use Search to find these thread titles.)

Does anyone has any idea if the 2010 and 2014 and 2015 prius two has the same hitch?

everyone is entitled to their own opinion regarding style over function. The Torklift is more hidden than all the other hitch options for the prius and some will pay more for that. I don't like how the curt hangs below the rear bumper but i got a got a good deal on it and it serves it's purpose.

The TorkLift isn't for everyone. But it is much less obtrusive and draggy than other models. I haven't heard of it bending as some others have. And I could get a more universal 2" version.

On top of that, it is sort of a 'local' business to me.

Do you still have to cut the plastic panel to install it?

The Curt is weaker than the other hitches. It requires the use of a stabilizing strap for bikes.

I didn't do the installation on my Prius, but had it done at TorkLift's shop. It was the first version, probably the same one shown in their video. They have revised the hitch a bit since then.

I later did my own installation on a '14 Forester. It did involve snipping a bit of the metal exhaust heat shield and plastic bumper. I went the full bumper removal route, something I'd never done before, and it turned out somewhat easier than expected.

I have a U-Haul hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver that I use with a THULE bike rack. Works great. My real question is has anyone used their Prius Gen III to tow a 4x8 U-Haul trailer? I think it works when you do the math, based on 850 lbs max capacity, however Toyota says no towing allowed in the manual. Anyone have any experience??

I have the same question about a gen II because I have to somehow haul a smallish load from Arizona to Virginia this September and I will either have to haul it with my car, find something to borrow that can do it, or fly out and rent a truck.

I have the Draw Tite class I hitch that I bought from 4 wheel online though it is still in the box. Planning to install it next weekend.
