I just got my Prime Advanced last week. So far I'm charging at public stations or at home with a 100' extension cord about as thick as a pen (see photo). It gets warm but not hot. Which replacement option is best? 1. The 110V outlet I'm using is 50' away so I could get a 50' heavy duty extension cord. 2. I have a 220V outlet 70' away so I could get an adapter and a 75' heavy duty extension cord. 3. I could get the 220V adapter and keep using my 100' extension cord. 4. I could stick with my 100' cord at 110V. 5. I could limit my charging to public stations.
You're asking two different questions, but I'll condense them into one answer. Spend the money & buy a quality 10 AWG cord in your needed length. Rob43
With that cord you can choose whatever voltage you prefer. Rob43 PS, I'm building a new style very high quality 240v adapter for $39 shipped.
