ok i admit i dont know where to put this...so Mods, move as you see fit. got this e-mail.... WHERE TO BUY YOUR USA-GAS WHERE TO BUY YOUR USA-GAS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON-- Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even be good for us! The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor. An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the cof fers of Saudi Arabia Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil. These companies import Middle Eastern oil: Shell.......................... 205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco..........144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil..............130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway..117,740,000 barrels Amoco...........................62,231,000 barrels Citgo Gas comes from South America , from a Dictator who hates Americans. Do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! (Oil is now over $100.00 a barrel) Here are some large companies that DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil: Sunoco............... 0 barrels Conoco................ 0 barrels Sinclair................ 0 barrels BP/Phillips.......... 0 barrels Hess..................... 0 barrels ARC0. ................... 0 barrels Also: Pilot, Flying J, Love's, RaceTrac, Valero All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. well, i will say, other than Costco (im sure they get their oil from Arco...) i buy at arco because they are always the cheapest...
I generally use Race track and have never used Citgo. I hate that guy. Citgo is 7-11 gas usually . Waging buy off's dont usually work very well.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, don't post these stupid SPAM emails, they are not true, they take up space, and the not too bright people will think they are real. Not buying gas on a certain day, not buying gas from a certain oil company, and anything else that says stuff like this is BS, stop posting.
Yeah, I thought that I had seen that before. I guess this email can be filed with all the other emails that promise "extra growth..."
Venezuela President Hugo Chavez does not hate Americans. He hates the George W. Bush regime. There is a big difference. Also, President Hugo Chavez was democratically elected twice even while the Bush Administration tried to stage a coup against him. Hardly a dictator.
Thats the part that people don't understand, George W. Bush has created so much hatred around the world toward his administration, that it will take a good while to repair the damage Bush has done to the US's image. Thats one of the reasons the oil countries have enjoyed the high prices, no incentive to help the US with Bush as leader. Saudi Arabia even tried twice to lower prices, but Bush and Co. told them to get lost.
How bout referring to the DoE statistics (2007) instead: http://www.eia.doe.gov/pub/oil_gas/...roleum_supply_monthly/current/pdf/table37.pdf
I agree... Chavez doesn't hate americans any more than islamics terrorists hate us for "our freedoms".. BS.. .they hate american foreign policy.. Frankly, usually I do as well. We make the worst possible decisions just about every time.
I realize that a lot of prius drivers have a certain 'bent' to the left but do you really have to be so insulting to America and Americans on Memorial day? Chaves is a dictator even if you lefties want to kiss and love on him. This veteran has been around the globe and have seen senough to know bad news when I see it. I had friends give thier all so that you could be free to hate the very things we fought for. Frankly sometimes I doubt it was worth doing.
lol.... have some more koolaid! Then relax. Believe it or not, even those of us with a slight left bent love this country. It is, in fact, possible to love America and appreciate our freedoms as we criticize some policies. It is the essence of patriotism.
I love my mom, too, but that doesn't mean that I think everything she does is right. The difference between my mom and my country is that it's far more important to correct my country.
