where to place jack

    Is this the right location for jacking the front of my 2007 Prius

    It's shown in the owner's manual I think. You're talking about front center jacking point right, just aft of front bumper? Look under there with a good light and it should be pretty obvious: there'll be a significant bump of metal, near middle/front.
