The repair manual does not include instructions for the removal of many pieces of trim such as the fender liners, etc. even in the interior trim/exterior trim sections. Removal of these trim pieces isn't even mentioned despite being necessary to access certain other components for service, nor is there a catalog of parts numbers for the clips, covers, and bolts required or torque figures for bolts for these components.

I'm wondering if this information is contained elsewhere and how I might acquire it.

YouTube is one possibility. If that doesn't get what you need, the service manual is available online through Toyota's website. I think it's $20 for two days or something like that. https://techinfo.toyota.com

Seems like the OP was saying certain trim jobs weren't even covered in the RM. Hmm.

Sometimes the parts diagrams (think parts.toyota.com) will at least show what the pieces look like and where the fasteners go, and what kind.

...and be prepared to break a fastener or 2 in the process of trim removal. It's all part of the learning curve!

A fair bit of trim removal is described in the Repair Manual, but it's scattered, all over the place. Often it's best to just use common sense. When instruction does help is if it's not that clear which part should come off first (dash dismantle for example), and/or the part has hidden clips, and it's hard to tell where's the optimum place to pry, or push, or shift.

But yeah, just go slow and methodical, keep in mind it did get popped together, once upon a time.

And any plastic fasteners you remove, wash the grit out of them with soapy water. Small bolts: clean them and put a drop or two of oil on them.

I've found that over the years - workshop manuals seem to assume that some things are common sense. Sometimes they are - other times, only common sense after you've broken the first clip.

As @Mendel Leisk kindly mentioned, there may not be separate topics for these parts in the table of contents, but the Repair Manual (more info) does provide installation and removal instructions, which can be found using the Search function. For example, for the front fender liners, look under Vehicle Exterior: Wiper/Washer: Washer Motor; the right side is shown, but the left is the same. Similarly, some of the instrument panel is covered under Vehicle Interior: Heating/Air Conditioning: Air Conditioning Unit.

There are a few parts, such as the front fender assemblies, that are covered only in another document, the Collision Repair Manual, and there only in summary form.
The parts catalog and the Repair Manual are separate, since the catalog is updated far more often.

There is a version of Toyota’s Electronic Parts Catalog at parts.toyota.com. That site doesn’t list the One grade you have, but the model code (ZVW50L-AHXEBA) is the same as for the Two, and the two grades are covered by the same source data, anyway. See especially Figure 52-01, Front Bumper & Bumper Stay; Figure 53-02, Hood & Front Fender; and Figure 61-01, Side Member.
There’s not a torque specification for the sheet-metal screws used for the fender liners, of course, but I’m not aware of any bolted connections on the car for which there is neither a specific torque value—usually given in the Specifications section, in an illustration in a Components topic, and in the procedure text—nor an applicable entry in the table under General: Specifications: Standard Bolt: Specified Torque for Standard Bolts.

Is there a specific one you need and couldn’t find?
