So after reading a bit on these forums I've come to understand that dealers often push these on you when they are not required at all. I've unfortunately been suckered into it and had it done as part as my 1 year maintenance. When they do wheel alignment they provide you with a nice graphic showing you what they did and to my untrained eye they made it worse? Can someone who understand these things validate if what they did at least didn't make my car worse?
Did they actually do anything, or just wiggle the rear wheels around while on the lift? For many cars, it isn't possible, or vary involved, to adjust the camber. I don't think they made it worse; might even help with heavy cornering traction. Some cars have that much camber from the factory. The inside rear tires will wear faster, even with the before settings. If tires are rotated regularly, that wear may not be noticed. Snugging up the rear toe could help efficiency.
