Now that I've replaced my traction battery, what are some of the things I can do with it.

How hard is it to repair a bad cell and can it be used as a extra capacity if wired back in to the car?

I assume you are talking about your old traction battery. Usually traction battery failure is the result of 1 or 2 cells failing. Those individual cells can be purchased, most notably, from AutoBeYours and XVIPERS for around $50 each. Someone with some knowledge would have to test the individual cells to find out which ones failed.

You could also sell the individual cells on Ebay. (again you probably want to know which ones are good) You could sell the whole traction battery. As for repairing it an adding it to your car it's too costly to do. It probably would not provide much if any extra benefit.

    Best of Luck!

Didn't Toyota offer you a credit for it? They're supposed to.

Cells have to be matched for the charger to work correctly, so re-using parts of this battery is problematic.

If you can't sell it or the good cells, find a place to recycle it.

The dealer should credit you $200 so they can take it to recycle it.
