    Hello All,

This is my first post on PriusChat, but not the first time I've benefited from all of the information here. I currently own a 2011 Prius and a 2013 Prius V (Two).

Long story short, the 2011 Prius was burning oil, and now the engine is completely shot. Mostly my fault for not giving proper urgency to the fault light (which was sporadic and inconsistent, but still).

The 2013 Prius V is having some traction battery issues lately, and I've already determined I should be able to make use of the battery in the 2011, either by swapping it or building a new battery using the best performing cells of each (I'm a good electrical engineer, just a bad mechanic). So, given that engine is shot and I have a use for the battery, what other parts should I consider salvaging from the 2011 before I scrap it? I'm operating under the assumption that much of it is compatible with the 2013 V, but finding a list has been difficult.

    Thanks!

The brake booster/master cylinder is different as is the transaxle. The ecm would have to be reflashed to use in a v but your v's computers are reliable. The inverter is different as well and the v's inverter still has coverage.

You could get the cats but coming off an oil burner the existing v's may be better.

The hv battery is the same.
