What happened to the Prime app??

It totally and randomly changed for me. Anyone else?

It also does not allow me to see the tire pressure for each wheel like before.

Its saying I need to renew a subscription and when I click “renew” it takes me to a window asking me to renew the Safety connect app even though it’s valid until February 2023?? What the heck.

edit: I have the LE model so my app wasn’t as informative as the other trims. But still. I checked that tire pressure all the time, like daily. Unless I’m missing the location to tap I can’t find the tire pressures. All it’s showing me is mileage and how much fuel is in the tank. Can’t find the nearest charging stations either (not that I ever really used any).

    Attached pics.

Also what the heck? I click on “Specs” and get this. Gee thanks, lol.

I’m having the same problem with the new app and update, while I was never able to lock, unlock, view tire pressure, or get any kind of alerts from the app. At least now I can see my eco history. I thought it might be because my prime is older (2017) I guess not. Wish they’d fix it already.

Which trim do you have? I used to be able to get the tire pressure of each tire on each corner with my 2020 LE which was awesome as I’d check it daily.

Although Remote Start is shown it is functionless.
As I mentioned in another discussion I think it's because the app can't determine the Prime model/year and Subscription status. Probably an oversight as the Prime is "unique"? The only features that work are those common to all model years and don't require a subscription. I think I'll give support a call and give them a polite earful.

There is also the issue of Account Data Privacy Portal settings, which controls what info Toyota will collect from the car over the telematics system. These settings allows you to control if things like driving patterns can be collected, so you can get insurance discounts from some companies, or if your dealer can get system health reports. Most people probably want to tell Toyota to take a hike for these things, but maybe something is screwed up with that, requiring you to enable all of that for the basic App functions to work.

Works for my Venza not my Prime. Since I’ve not proactively adjusted settings on either I tend to doubt it’s the issue.

I hope it returns soon. I got used to spoiled by seeing the tire pressures on my phone - especially in the winter. So much easier

Wow, did you guys check the reviews on the new app? 2.4 / 5 star average. Here’s an example of some comments (many about losing the tire pressure reading which also bother me a lot):

Again, not every model suffers the same issue.
The App is capable of displaying the info just not the Prime maybe others.

I updated the app on my phone and, like many, lost the tire pressure info. Luckily, I also have the app on my iPad and I did NOT update it, so I can still access that info (just not as conveniently as with my phone). But the removal of the feature is asinine, as it costs nothing to maintain.

Without the tire pressures the app is virtually worthless now. Can’t believe they did that. That’s all I used it for.

I’m really irritated we can’t see tire pressure, control charging, unlock/lock, climate control, and all the other features we paid extra to have in these vehicles that worked just fine till they decided to make their own app and are now trying to tell us our vehicles can’t do. Getting a tad bit impatient with the whole mess. If the app was this faulty why was it released, or at least rollback entune so that works until you fix toyota app.

Tire pressure is back and maybe even a little better. But I have no idea how accurate it is. I’ll have to test

My car doesn't support Tire Pressure but the "App Suite" Card seems broken this morning. If I tap it the screen darkens but the applet doesn't launch. I'm on iOS.

On IOS as well. Here’s what shows up now (it didn’t for awhile when new app launched) - see attached screen shots 1676EFCC-A228-4845-BFD5-501C322C0326.png 19A8818F-ED1F-4F78-BF21-D47447DB8BE4.png

My 2018 doesn't have "Vehicle Status" as far as I can tell. At least on my wife's 2021 Venza it's on the opening screen. I get no such thing on the Prime.
