The purpose of this thread is to document what fits in PiP cargo, either rear seats folded down or not.

The cargo space is exactly the same as GenIII Prius but access to the charging cord requires leaving some space in the back. This is totally optional as it depends if you'll be storing it there or needing to charge it before unloading the cargo. You can even put the cord anywhere in the car.

Here is mine with 2 carry-on bags and a hiking backpack. On top of them is an electronic keyboard. There is still plenty of room left.

I have a 55 inch'er and the height of the box is 33 inches, the PIP clearance is 27 inches. My TV was power cycling poly because I had a battery back up that has a stepped (square wave) output when in battery mode. My PC power supply "crapped out" due to this phenomenon. Got a replacement power supply (covered by warranty) also replaced the battery back up with a pure sine wave model. Lately my TV has been behaving itself so I'm holding off on getting it repaired.:coffee:

Yup, took him on an EV trip to the vet that day. I like the pic because he looks like he is watching the energy monitor.

Sure nice to have a flat cargo floor or he/she would have a rocky ride.

4 tires mounted on 15" rims... found out I had plenty of room to spare when I got my snow's mounted on their own dedicated rims.

Slightly off topic, because I'm attaching a photo of what can fit into Gen II Prius cargo. However! Besides the white 2006 Gen II Prius, I am now the proud owner of a 2012 PiPA. And I think the PiPA can hold as much or more.

Anyway, 5 guys and all their gear packed up and ready to drive from the San Francisco Bay Area to Yosemite, where we hiked Half Dome. No SUV. Just a Prius. Drove like a champ!

Re: OP, I recently discovered that I can fit 165 cm skis in the hatch area WITHOUT folding down the seats. Unfortunately with two such skis, we did have to fold down the 40% section.
