What does Techstream and any other OBD2 device offer that I can't get through the OEM computer?

I have a Prius Plug In Advanced that allows you to see most information and adjust most settings from what I can tell that Techstream and most of those devices can do. Is there anything I can't do with my own OEM computer that any OBD2 device can do? If so, I'd like to find it and buy it!

tech stream is toyota's official software.
typically, it is used for diagnosis, service and repairs, which your oem can't do. if you're talking about reverse and seatbelt beeps and the like, no worries.
if you want to monitor things like battery temps, rpm's and etc., a scan gauge, phone app or other obd would be more appropriate.

Can you see your individual tire pressures and edit codes of the TPMS devices? That you can do with TechStream.
