They are the "Premium Horns" found on many of the upper class Toyota (JDM) automobiles. They have a true "trumpet" as you can see. They are not "disk" horns that are found on USA Toyota's. They range from 93 - 112 dbls and are 400 Hz & 500 Hz, respectively. They do not have the "meep meep" of the standard horns. They are "plug and play", no added parts required. It was money well spent as far as I'm concerned, (I'm not sure but I think they even give an extra 20 e-mpgs... kidding!!)

i'm not sure if i'm allowed to say this... but i bought them from Hybrid Pit ( HybridPit ). Great customer service, I had them in about 36 hours. (I am in San Diego and they came from Los Angeles, so there is that). OEM parts in an OEM Toyota box.

Thank You for the great question !! (FYI: Do NOT ask for a quote from ANY Toyota Dealer to put them on the car... because you WILL have a heart attack when they quote 2 to 3 hours labor to remove the bumper) Never having removed a bumper from a Prius... it did take me 2 hours, but I was being methodical.

Today, after a long and painful deliberation... and some laziness.... i ordered my Plus Performance Springs and Rear Sway Bar. Great customer service from Toyota of El Cajon (Parts Dept and Service Dept) with both the pricing on the parts and the estimate for installation / labor.

    Pictures.... soooooooon (4Nov)

I had no idea springs and sway bars were options to be considered. Here's something: I have a coupon for $100 off $200 or more in Toyota service and parts. It will expire in one week (11/4/16). What should I buy? What would you buy? I probably don't need hot rod suspension, and I don't care for wheel locks. Anything? Rocker panel lights (door sill lights) are one possibility. I have 44,500 miles on the 2012.

That would be too sensible. I will take my chances with a tire plug kit and a 2nd mini air compressor, one that does not require liquid sealant. For a bad sidewall failure I've already paid for Safety Connect, which actually might have been a good use for the coupon, if I had thought of it sooner.

Goodness, decisions, decisions, decisions.... I would like to say that I whole heartedly know that you should "buy this or buy that", but I took a lot of time and read a lot of posts and spoke to Dylan on more than one occasion regarding the R. Sway Bar and Lowering Springs.... but first let me say that it isn't "Hot Rod" suspension, it IS an improvement on what the Prius was meant to have (opinion).

I love my IDS, they were the second thing I had installed. They really make a difference when you open your car door!! Brushed Aluminum and Lighted really make it look good.

The Premium Horns would be great, but you can't order them from a USA Toyota dealer.

Additionally, there are the Lower Door Moldings... Brushed Aluminum for the Plug In.

If I had a free $100 bill I would have ordered the suspension parts months ago !!
