Driving back from downtown, on the 10 freeway in Los Angeles, I passed two SUVs, both with Michigan license plates. Each was towing a small trailer. On the passenger side of each vehicle, sticking out from the center hub of each wheel was an extender to the hub. Attached to each of the extenders was a rod and the other end of the rod was attached to some form of heavy wires. Both of these contraptions were tapped with heavy tape to the respective fenders. I was on the right of the vehicles and could not see if there was a similar arrangement on the driver's side.There were also two or three antennas on each vehicle. Anyone have any idea what these vehicles were? Ted
