Has anyone received the so called 'Welcoming Package" from toyota yet? What does it entail and how long before we get it? Picked up my car on 3/15 and still nothing in the mail. why can't they just give it to us at the dealership. Ugggg. 4msprius
Nothing in the mail, but I did get the ususal customer survey from Toyota asking about my purchase experience.
While taking the survey over the phone, the rep mentioned the welcoming package. Haven't seen anything yet.
If by welcome packet, you mean the information packet that gets mailed out on the Toyota Care/Roadside Assistance, then yes, but this is just info, not a gift packet, sorry, don't get your hopes up folks. Best, Erica Gartsbeyn Prius Product Manager Toyota USA
Hi Erica. It would be very cool if Toyota did something to acknowledge this odd cult we've joined- maybe a special PiP charger bag filled with a few goodies like a pen and pad to keep track of mileage, small water bottle, t- shirt, all branded of course. We are, after all, walking, talking ads for this new-fangled technology, so thanking us and encouraging us to wear our PiP branding everywhere is a good thing...just a thought.
Swag and other goodies I have PriusChat swag coming to me from Danny. I shall be shippng that out for him PLUS, I will be adding gifts of my own in there so my clients CAN get your hopes up! It will be a few weeks yet but you all got your Christmas Stars/artwork (I think) and will get the rest of the goodies soon. Dianne
Re: Swag and other goodies Oy! If only I had known, I would have driven to SoCal and bought from you! That's how much I LOVE swag!
Yes but our TAX dollars PAID for it....with the Chevy Volt... I would rather support a company (Toyota) that does not: 1. Have to Rebuilt the battery housing, 2. Just recall all the EV charging cables produced ever since before Feb... just saying... I like a car that "just works"....:cheer2:
In honor of the Obamacare debate I am no longer considering that I got a $7500 tax credit on my Volt, the rest of you were just fined $7500 for not buying one.:focus:
Gwmort, that's funny! I'll have to remember it when I hear whining about the $2500 tax credit on the PiP.
Haha, not only did you get the viewpoint spot on, you got the math spot on too. The fine is just $5000 for a bunch of us.
As a welcoming package I would like to receive my PiP........... It will take it 10/14 days to make it from Newark Port Docks to Staten Island Toyota, about 4 miles....?
I would not be so sure of that. Mine was on New Century 1 and arrived in Newark on 3/27, it was at my dealer on 3/29 and I am picking it up today. I think they over estimate. --Good Luck--
