Weathertech vs Husky floor liners - is traction an issue?

I don't think its an issue whatsoever due solely to how you enter and exit the car. It might be of some issue in the cargo area so as to prevent stuff from sliding around.

 

I literally just got the Husky X-Act Contour installed this week. On my previous cars, ive had the Weathertechs, Husky Original, and Husky Weatherbeaters. All the other ones were similar. They were a hard plastic that didn't bend and remained firm even when removing them to wash. The only problem is that they don't retain their shape at all. Once there's a bend or crease, the ends just curl up and never remain flat where they're supposed to. It's a hard plastic after all.

The X-act contour is more of a rubber material and heavier. So it is bendable and will continue to hood its shape, especially along the risen edges. They just feel better.

My car came with the OEM liners and are almost the same material as the weathertech and older Husky liners but without the same coverage. I hated the ones for the back row because the edges just didn't lay flat along the foot well. This was even on the first day I got the car I asked the salesman if they were the right mats because it looked like it didn't line up at all. He assured me they were and showed me another car with the same liners. Same poor fitment.

Ill try to take pictures of the liners tomorrow and post them. I'd rate the finish an 8/10 as they look like they have some pittings on them that's only notivdable up close. The fit I would rate an 8/10 as at first it looks like it doesn't line up well but after a few days it confirms alot better with the car. Material and ruggedness I would give a 10/10. They have a nice premium feel and nice heft to them and I know they will last for a long time
