My wife and I took the plunge today and bought a 2007 Prius: Pkg. # 3 Silver Pine Mica Satellite radio Extra Mile package We went to two dealers: Dealer A (Classic Toyota in Round Rock, TX) treated us with much kindness and consideration. They discounted the car a lot - about $500 over the Consumer Reports Base Line Price plus invoice price of the options. Dealer B had a bad reaction to our negotiating style. The salesman treated us rather rudely by not backing off the MSRP.
Congrats on your new PRIUS and sorry to hear about the bad dealer You should post who the bad dealer is and that way others who shop might avoid them and save their time and trouble I feel all dealers and everyone for that matter should treat each other with respect If it cost them the sale it's their problem.
