We like sheep... on the ECO Dashboard

The Prius Prime's Entune application installed on my smart phone includes access to something called the "ECO Dashboard" which presents various statistics and score concerning one's driving efficiency.

For the competitive at heart, the ECO Dashboard shows how one compares with other Prius Prime owners.

It also has a very cute graphic:

After a month of running entirely on plug-in charges, we decided to take a weekend getaway about 100 miles from home: our first highway trip requiring running in hybrid mode and using {gasp!} gasoline.

Well, the oranges on the tree disappeared and one of the sheep left. Then, after the return trip, the other sheep disappeared, too.

Obviously, we want to get our sheep back. And, I assume that means running in EV mode only for the next few weeks. Does anyone know how these various rating scales work?

I have to admit that this is kind of fun and a perfect game for the obsessive-compulsive. In fact, one might consider the Prime to be like a Fitbit for those who prefer driving to exercise.

Very good catch! I'd looked at this screen many times, but had not noticed the changes in the back ground. I've yet to add my first tank and I'm over 1,300 miles. Here's my current graphic. I'll start watching it for changes. Where's Waldo? ;)

I never noticed that so I had to stop and look. Two sheep, no sun, but a wolf approaching my sheep. What does that mean?

Unless you see a campfire and lamb chops, you're probably OK.

Is there somewhere to go to understand how this sheep, sun, tree, etc. thing works?

Or am I getting my leg pulled?

Drive and check your ECO Dashboard. Repeat. It will change.

I never tried Eco Dashboard. I now see I have oranges on the tree and two sheep, but no sun. I'll try to keep the wolf away.

Yes, but what is the goal? How does it work? Can you get 3 sheep? My tree has flowers. Are oranges better? What are the rules. I have to know. I can't sleep at night now worrying about this.

    You've got tulips!

You need a Tesla so you have something real to worry about. ;)

What I really want to know is what is the sheep on the left staring at?

    Today, I found a rainbow coming out of my . . . . destination.

Makes you wonder if there might be a double rainbow. I don't have a smartphone to see this for myself. :(

OK, the rainbow is just wrong. I can't get a sun or oranges. Actually, nothing changes on mine at all. As far as the sheep goes...TMI.

Another observation. The PRIME is a very progressive car (or so I think) yet this display seems to be promoting the concept of a flat Earth.
