I supposed one doesn't need to be a media-tycoon or an influential industrialist to be in amongst the top-50. Just look at who is at 42nd.....
What about The High King of Ireland.....Bono!!,there's a bit of a joke here in Ireland...Pope John Paul 11 and Bono in a photo together and someone asks "who's that standing beside Bono"
Number 39 is a good Adelaide boy. His first newspaper was the Adelaide paper "The News" and my dad worked for him. Funny how you can start in a little city of 1,000,000 and end up with a global empire.

its all just one persons opinion. he may have had input from several different people, but its still just one person's opinion... personally, i dont think very highly of his opinions
Angela Merkel, the same person who criticised the Irish Government for first suggesting to shore up the banking system[in Ireland anyway] and then did a u-turn and thought it was a good idea....Merkel me a**e!!
I don't care how much everyone hates President Bush or how much of a lame duck he is, not putting the sitting President of the US in the number one position is a major clue that this writer is an idiot.
