Yesterday I turned on my 2002 Prius and I get the Master Warning light (triangle with exlamation point) and the Malfunction Indicator Warning light and the Hybrid System Warning light is red and falshing. Does anyone have any clue as to what this is? I had to charge my 12V battery recently and the car starts and moves but I quickly turned it off. Any assistance would be appreciated.

If the car seems to drive normally, go to a Toyota shop and have them read for codes. If it operates strangely or not at all, then you must be towed or flatbedded there. Call them first to confirm that a Prius tech will be able to look at it.

Not possible to diagnose without more info. The previous 12 volt battery charging may/may not be related.

Has the engine control module been previously replaced? This is a rather common cause of warning lights but I don't remember about the flashing part.

If the 12V is from 2002 or thereabouts, suspect it. Hang a voltmeter
on it while firing up the car; if it goes down under 11V you very
    likely have a diagnosis.
