Preferably in the Scan Fernando Valley. What I mean by detailing is getting out 10 years worth of the usual wear and tear, i.e. paint chips and dings that are just a bit much to try and attempt to deal with on a DIY basis (at least as an apartment-dweller). I've had quotes from Valley Motor Center In the neighborhood of $1,700, and not much better from GTA Auto Body, so would like to find someone a bit more reasonable. It seems like it shouldn't cost more than about $500 or so to have this sort of thing done.
IMO, $500 seems low to get multiple dings out, correct paint chips as well as properly detail a vehicle with 10 years of paint damage if not taken care of during those 10 years on a routine basis.
