I ordered a 2011 model 4 prior to the tsunami back in February 2011 putting down a $500 deposit and am still waiting for a delivery date in June. I completely understand that Prius production has been upside down but I would like to get the price and model/options I ordered. I'm concerned that given how scarce supply is now as well as how much more dealers can get on any Prius delivered to them that my dealer will just choose to sell the car i ordered to someone else at a premium and never tell me the car I ordered arrived. Then they will wait until 2012 models arrive and void my deal. I know this sounds paranoid but times are tough! Does anyone have any advice to get my dealer to do me right?
Get the dealer to give you the VIN number. Then you can track it on the ship and see when the boat docks. You can search PriusChat fo a link to web site. Good Luck
