Has anyone had their voltage line cover (white plastic casing over the 440volt lines) damaged? I landed in the ditch, after being hit, my gas tank and line cover were damaged. Insurance questioned if that damage didnt really occur under normal driving.

Is there a rear skid plate?

Look for bare metal. If it's rusted over, it's old damage. If it's bare steel it's fresh. You may also have fresh mud or grass sticking to it.

I don't think it matters how the damage happened does it? I am unaware of any "normal" damage, Is damage normal?

Does "normal driving" include off-roading? I mean how else would you damage something like that? Curb hopping?

i've damaged mine. it's simply a semi clear casing so safety crews know where the lines run. they are not open lines... they are coated, so they are safe to get wet. ;)

My point is regardless of how it's damaged, doesn't insurance have to fix it?
