Has anybody here gotten Verizon's new MOTORAZR2 V9m and paired it with a 2004 Prius? I currently have the Nokia 6256i phone from Verizon, which in 2005 was the only Bluetooth Verizon phone that allowed for sending contacts into the Prius address book. The toyota.letstalk website says that the new Verizon MOTORAZR2 V9m will let users transfer all contacts in your address book into a 2004 Prius in one step. If that's true, I think it would be the first Verizon phone to allow that Object Push Bluetooth profile.

Just curious if anybody has tried it yet.

    Thanks!

As long as my a**s points to the ground I will never buy another Motorola phone. I've had 3 and they were all crap. It took a while but I have learned.

It might be useful to do some searching prior to posting, it looks like someone already posted that they were able to transfer multiple contacts simultaneously but did encounter some problems (it may be possible that special characters were included in the contact info that the phone does not have the compatibility to transfer, but this is not mentioned by the original poster... sounds like a problem with that specific contact that it keeps getting stuck on):

I did do research before posting, as I saw on the Letstalk site that this v9m phone should work with Verizon service on an '04 Prius with bluetooth navigation. But I couldn't believe what i was reading, so I wanted to ask if anybody had real-world experience with it. I also did a search on Priuschat before posting, but that link you referred to was about that phone on Sprint's service. Verizon is infamous for disabling many of the bluetooth functionality on their phones, which is why I originally posted.

So, anybody have luck with the Verizon Motorazr2 v9m? Or any of Verizon's new LG phones coming out?

    Thanks.

    At this link:
    http://toyota.letstalk.com/brands/lexus-bt...yType=bluetooth

It does say "Motorola MOTORAZR2 v9m Verizon Wireless" and practially everything says 'Yes' that it works with the Prius... well, at least I picked the '06 so I'm not sure if it would be different for an '04 or '05. If anything, you can probably go to a Verizon store and ask them to bring a RAZR2 v9m out to your car and test it out. If they won't do that then see if they'll let you buy the phone, take it out to the car and try it and if it doesn't work then return the phone and get your money back.
