Google is empty on this, can anyone confirm they were able to use a VC601 TPMS sensor and it works with the Toyota TPMS system? In my head I should be able to take the sensor IDs and program them like a Denzo one... just, find it odd searching VC601 Toyota nothing relevant is found. these are Bluetooth universal and thought they would have a signal id to code...

For what it's worth, I want to use them with a PCB board I made that talks to the canbus and that will also communicate with these sensors. Currently, the only way to view the TPMS sensor data using the Denzo is through the OBD2 and selecting the TPMS ecu... when that's selected the Hybrid ecu isn't accessible...
so I can either view TPMS or have to switch ECU selections to then view MPG and other non TPMS data... but I want to have that data via Bluetooth to a in car server I made which controls the carAutomation system, logs all data, and provides the signal data to power the rear electric motor I added in my 2013 Prius Plug-in...

No. Toyota uses 315mhz and a specific protocol to communicate TPMS data. Bluetooth is spectrum shifting in a 2.4 GHz band with various downward compatible Bluetooth protocols.

ahhh but... a 315mhz to bluetooth would work! that's all the tireminder system is, only it converts 433mhz... hmmmmm

    many thanks for this clarity!
