I have a 2006 Gen 2 Prius and have been happily driving it for 10 years. It has over 155k miles. A couple of days ago, the red triangle of death showed up and looks like it needs new hybrid battery. I live in northern California and would like some opinion on the value of the car sold as-is for someone who may be interested in fixing it.
from what i've read, $3-5,000. without knowing what's wrong for sure, it may be a bit more difficult. you're just out of warranty, have you called toyota and asked for goodwill assistance?
