Does anyone know if the Prius model IV had a valet key like the Camry Hybrid for 2007 in which I pull out the master part of the key from the fob and give the fob to the valet after locking my drunk and glove comartment.
I have also read many threads about the new Navigation system for the Prius Generation III. It appears thatthe jury is divided. Has anyone from a reputable group such as Consumer Reports or CNET reviewed the new Prius and its electronics in particular its Navigation system? What will the cost of the Sirrusreal time traffic alerts cost after the 90 day free trial? Does one need to subscribe to this service for the Navigation system to work even without live updates of traffic problems?

    Thanks

No locking glove box and no valet key.

$16.94 per month includes a subscription to XM Radio; $9.95 per month for NAVTraffic alone. Multi-year and family plan discounts are available. See XMRadio.com.

The Navigation system will work just fine, albeit without traffic updates, without a subscription.

Also, it is always possible to get into the luggage compartment without opening the rear hatch door. The tonneau cover is a fairly thin piece of material that rolls up into a holder (a bit like a window roller-blind) so it can be stowed under the rear floor.

There's a smallish box below the rear floorboard that can be used for hiding items out of sight, but again it's not a locked box. It's just a little less obvious.

    Hi Jay man:

Does anyone know if the new Prius models with the installed Navigation system is coming with the latest installed DVD as opposed to an earlier version of the software?

does Toyota sell a DVD for travel to Candada and Mexico?

    Thanks
