Hello. Several coffee w/milks splashed on USB port likely caused not to work. Want to replace. Looks like just pop it out with flat head screwdriver ...unplug and replace. I would call this a USB port...but see it called: 'adapter assembly' also.......Toyota wants big $ ($160-) for a simple USB port......so thinking of taking it out cleaning it. Years back I used electrical contact spray (think it was so called) on corroded headlight connections and it was miraculous...transformed connection that looked like useless corroded trash to brand new. So thinking of giving USB connection a spray blast ...thoughts welcome!

Pop out and disconnect the port. A little warm water and perhaps a pipe cleaner is all you need. Contact cleaners might leave behind a little light oil which would be OK for electrical connections but might cause problems with signals.

Meant to add, if there is a light oil left behind it may capture dust and eventually gum up the works.
