I recently installed the USB kit (PT233-47100, which is now standard for NAV-equipped vehicles), and I've noticed that the display of songs and folder names are sometimes missing characters (truncated). Sometimes they are truncated to as few as 2 characters. If I remove and re-insert the USB stick, The characters will often re-appear, but then others may be missing. I've tried this on multiple USB sticks, with the same results. Anyone else seeing this behavior, or do I have a bad USB ECU?
