It's been a few months since my last update of the ZVW30. Latest mods as of this week includes JDM fender flares + Chargespeed add on side skirts. Overall install was a breeze with a few self tapping screws and double sided tape.

    Here are the photos:

Sorry for the distorted photos, they were taken by my Iphone.

Next mods will be adding on Circuit Sports Altrac wheel spacers to bump out the wheels. Thinking to go with 15mm rear, and 10mm fronts.

Ooh very cool!! I love both the chargespeed and vertex kits.. I have been debating which one to go with.. They are both very high on my list for kits I want!!

Car looks awesome!! How much were those fender flares and where did you get them? Looks like they add about 3mm-5mm more to each fender..

The sideskirts look nice and fantastic rims! How much were they?

Side skirts look great. The fender flares call for more aggressive wheels, but my complaint would be they don't line up with the other add-ons. That's usually a problem when you mix add-ons from different manufacturers.

Did you cut out your fenders for add on fender flares? wider fenders cant fit in wider wheels is a no no

    Just my 2 cents

Chargespeed side skirts are available for order through U.S distributor, list price is $499, so you can shop for the best price around.

Fender flares were ordered from Japan, cost about $400, then you pay whatever EMS fees to have someone to mail it over for you. I got it from Japan Yahoo auction.

I am running 16" Volks ECO wheels and don't plan to go any bigger or wider, just going to add wheel spacers to push the wheels out to match the flares that's about it.

I am trying to keep this car practical and looking nice.

FYI you can still run wider wheels with flare add on without cutting the stock fenders as long as you DON'T SLAM THE CAR, the flares actually cover 'downward' from stock fenders, so in reality you don't need to lowered the car that much to get a lowered look.

But I plan to keep stock height (still running stock suspension), I don't like rubbing my side skirts and front lip going over speed bumps and driveways and I drive this car daily so I need to keep it practical. Overall the car looks not bad even without lowering simply because I kept the wheels 'small' at 16" and not going with 17 or 18's. However, I can imagine going with 18's would still be okay with slighly lower stance on coilovers should do it. Cutting the fenders with wider rims are for people going with slamming the car on negative camber and stretch tire look, IMHO this would look tacky on the Prius (IMHO).

I like to mix and match because it's hard to find a FULL kit that looks nice all around. Some kits I had my eyes on I like the front lip but not the side skirts. Some kit I like the side skirts but I don't like the rear diffuser. So I decide to take the path of mix and matching to the way I like. One good thing about this is no one will have the same exact thing on their car as yours. If everyone shows up the meet with Tommy Kaira kit, it will become boring right? :)

FYI, originally I intended to order the carbon side step add on skirts but I ordered the FRP instead so had to get it painted. But overall turned out somewhat okay so I will stick with it.

My next few mods will arrive in 1-2 months, will post more pics when they arrive.

Does anyone know if any company is developing any supercharger kit for the Prius? Because I am in the market for one..
