My old plug-in Prius did this - with fob in pocket, I could unlock back door by pressing rubber latch. My 2018 Prime Plus doesn't do that. I have to either unlock by touching driver's door handle, or press unlock on the fob twice.
Is there a setting, or they just don't do that anymore?

Mine operates as you want it to.
No need to unlock anything prior as long as I have the FOB.
But I have the Advanced trim.

Plus trim only has driver door fob proximity unlock. Not sure if you could pay the dealer to upgrade assuming that it is just a software feature.

Yap, Premium and Advanced trims have 3 door SKS, but Plus is only drivers door SKS. I think I saw some Gen3? hack thread on this topic, but not sure if anyone succeed. Even if it is possible, I would think it is going to be fairly expensive and/or complicated upgrade.

There is another thread with the plus upgrade question, but no answer. I think it is next to impossible

I was wondering if the metal bracket above the hatch release that has been reported as rusting
    might be an antenna component?
Is the "Plus" trim bracket plastic?
