Unexpected webcam behavior

Planning something else, I found two USB webcams saturated the CPU of my laptops when using QuickTime. But it turns out the ROVE webcam:

1. Enable WiFi
   1. Gives SSID and password
   2. 
2. Connect to WiFi
   1. Network 192.168.1.254 - ROVE webcam IP address
3. ROVE webcam ports
   1. 80 - http access for download of image files
   2. 443 - https access
   3. 1968 - lipsimc (?) audio?
   4. 3333 - dec-notes (?) configuration commands?
   5. 8192 - spytechphone live stream to web browser
      1. CPU load < 5% but video shows
      2.
