I had a Gen '01 Prius and now have a Gen 2 '04 Prius (pak 2). I have been a Prius owner for five years and have learned more about the car in the three weeks since I discovered this website than I learned in all the years before. What a great site.

I downloaded the description about the Toyota replacement fuel meter and filler pipe. My gauge does all the weired things others have described. With less than 3,000 miles before I go out of warranty, is it worth having the work done (if my VIN number matches) or should I keep "overfilling" it as I have been doing.

I wouldn't bother unless the symptoms are severe...the improvement was minimal for me and the process itself was a PITA.
