I see in the manual there are 3 types of screens. I assume they are related to the type of package your car has...for instance, I assume the Nav packages require a high res screen, which is type 1.

What package gets what screen and why?

If I have Type 1.....will I get 16 characters with Sirius or XM? Or is the character limitation that I have read about (where it's 10) based on something else?

    Heck, I don't know.
    The 2004 and '05 had a low-res screen. The 2006 and '07 have high-res screens. That's all I know if that's right.

Ya know, I wondered about that too. I have a 2006 #6 (no-nav) and it seems to have the high-res screen. Who knows why the manual shows different versions of the display software. Weird.
