Turn off Maintainence Required Light

    I just did an oil change on the car but can't figure out how to turn off the Maintaince Required Light on the dashboard. Any suggestions?

    Yes, read the owners' manual or perform a search for "Maintenance Light" on PriusChat .

    P.S. It does help if you correctly spell "Maintenance" when performing the search.

    If you can tolerate the ribbing, someone will eventually give you the answer. :D

    I change my own oil. I keep a notebook in the garage of things I've grown tired of looking up. Do yourself a favor and do what I did: copy the instructions onto something else and keep it next to where you keep your quarts of oil. Or perhaps in the glovebox or wherever is convenient for you.

    Hold down the ODO button, while powering the car on until the odometer display shows dashes, then zeroes, then back to total miles.
