I recently bought a 2012 prius c four. I have noticed that my trunk light doesn't come on, I have tried multiple new bulbs and it still doesn't come on.
The trunk light doesn't have a on/off switch on the side of it like my other cars. Does the light always come on automatically when the trunk is open, is there a switch or button somewhere to turn it off or on?
Is the trunk light fuse located underneath driver seat or in the engine bay?

The only control I know of is the switch integrated into the hatch latch.

There is a fuse chart in the owners' manual, and if you don't have it handy you can download it from Toyota.

Where is the switch located exactly? I don't see any on the latch?

Not on the latch, IN the latch. It is fully integrated into the mechanical latch & lock device at the lower center of the hatch.

See 69350P near the bottom of the reference drawing.

This doesn't mean you need a new one, but if testing has ruled out the fuse then you should take apart the hatch and test the switch next.
