Last week a driver somehow felt he shouldnt look in his blind spot and moved over without signaling or even flipping the bird. So I become sandwiched between the island which is 12" high which prevented me going into oncoming traffic. But my left side took a slam. Things went well as they could and finally my lonely child comes home tomorrow and seriously I CANT WAIT! These rentals are stealing gas money like highway robbery, so far 2016 Challenger, now a 2017 VW Passat one strange measurement for gas tank size you cant tell if its 1/2's or 1/4's but guessing rather "close enough", marks. Argh, I can sympathize with you! I had a 2016 Passat Wolfsburg Edition that was a Fahrvergdammnung rental. Both my dog & I despised that car, except for the heated seats. That reminded me of the time I had to help a lady figure out how to open the gas flap on her VW at a gas station. You had to stick the key into the driver's door and turn it the opposite direction for locking and unlocking to pop the flap.
I won't even start on the incomprehensible icons VW used in that thing. I would have killed for an owner's manual, even auf Deutsch. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
If you mean do I love mine too...? I treat my Prius like a the middle child. My other vehicles have more aesthetic appeal in their own specific ways. The Prius serves as my more utilitarian vehicle - to get me from point A to B and nothing more. In the end, it rewards me every time I arrive at my destination. I push the stop button and see my mileage, which is always remarkable. I'm safe and comfortable after experiencing a pleasant, enjoyable commute. I'd say my feelings are more like respect.
