Has Anybody ever replace your factory spring with some TRD or other aftermarket spring? I just recently got some 17'' aluminum alloy wheel for my 2010 Prius and there is a gap between the fender groove and my wheel. The local Toyota dealership actually sells these TRD spring for performance modification. But I am worried about once I use these TRD lowering springs or "drop low" the car, the tire will start to wear out unevenly. Has anybody try doing that before? Please advise, thanks...

A lot of people have lowered their Prius. Try using the search function to read those threads. There are other spring manufacturers besides TRD.

After lowering your car you should have an alignment performed. This will keep your tires from wearing out prematurely.

A couple of ppl report that the Performance Plus package springs lower 1.2". It is the TRD Sportivo suspension that lowers 10mm.

From what I understand about the TRD suspension, it doesn't lower the car very much at all.

I didn't want to slam my Prius so I went with the Eibach springs. I was able to order them today from AutoAnything.com & get 15% off plus free shipping on Cyber Monday. There is also a $20 rebate from Eibach so my net price will be around $165 them. :D

I just wish that I could find some wheels that I like in a 17"x7" that are not too heavy. :(
