I tried to watch Transmission Fluid Temperature of my Prius plus/v using Torque pro app but no value shown. Picture attached. IMG_20210806_175437.jpg

Does Prius v have this sensor?

I figured out the transmission temperature. Here is the link what I got.

I would think it would not have a trans temp sensor. It's not a traditional hydraulic automatic transmission that builds heat. It's a gear set bathed in oil -- more like a cross between a manual transmission and an axle/differential.

On a related note: how did you save the PID? I've loaded the trans temp PID for Torque to measure trans temp on my Tundra, and it worked, but when I closed the app and re-opened it, I had to manually re-enter the PID. I know I'm missing something simple... I just couldn't figure it out.

Prius Alpha /Plus/v (Prius 3rd gen) has Transmission temperature sensor. Please check Scangauge II website you will find their pid settings for Transmission temperature for Prius.

For your query, after inserting the data on PID editor click 'ok' to save. In my video you will find it at 4:40 to 6:10 minutes.
