I’ve had my 2013 Prius for about a year and a half , she has 266k miles and the transmission fluid has not been changed since I got it. I’ve put about 80k miles on it in the past year and a half and I was under the impression it could be dangerous to change the fluid due to the sealed system. Any input ?

Idk if any testing has been done, but most here advise changing because it is not a regular automatic transmission

Also, it is not hermetically sealed, it does have drain and fill plugs.

And I believe a vent plug, right on the top. Drain-and-fill away. (y)
