i know where the TPMS Computer (aka ECU) is located, but I cannot find the location of the TPMS Antenna and Receiver location on a 2009 Toyota Prius Base. I believe Pin 12 from the TPMS Computer goes to this TPMS antenna and receiver. Wiring diagrams for 2007-2009 Prius would be helpful also.

I plan to pick up the antenna and receiver at the salvage yard and connect it to the TMPS computer that picked up a few days ago.

You may ask, “what am I doing?” I am learning. I may build a TMPS tool from the parts.

It’s high up on the passenger side rear of the car. It’s above the 12 volt battery.

Tire pressure warning ecu pin 12 is Mpx2 out of tpwecu to combo meter in to deliver tp alert
    On dash.
Tpwecu pin 6 is Mpx1 out to bean ecu comm that tells the system which tp has failed.

TPWECU pin 10 is B+ 5 volts to ant/rec box
Pin 4 is ground to same
Pin 9 is rda out to same.

There is also a reset switch on pin 2 of tpwecu to ground. That switch is under the steering wheel.

Full service manual can be found @ toyotatechinfo.com as daily subscription. Electrical diagram can be found on ebay for $25 and a Bentley’s is very helpful.

Full Toyota techstream obd can be found on amazon.com called: mini vci
