Toyota updating Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid causes mileage loss?

    Toyota sent out a notice that the Toyota 25860-37020 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid needed to be updated and the ECU reprogrammed. Did both.

    Following the change (two months ago) my mileage has dropped 10%. Has anyone else had this result? If so, what did you do to correct it?

    Prius III 2010. Driving in the Tropics.

    I've got the same year. No notice yet. When was this notice sent to you?

    There was no notice on the site. The only thing they they flag right now is the curtain airbags. No known solution yet.

    Where this showed up was in scanning the ECU. It showed up as an update, but only once the Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid was changed. After that the new command document was uploaded to the ECU.
