    That's like hitting the lottery! Big expenses like that on your own volition would cost $5,000 - $10,000. Big Automotive expense kind of happened to us as well recently in our plug-in hybrid. It's in the shop getting a brand new battery. Woohoo! Only thing is some will use a major replacement as an alibi to say it only happens to ev's.
