What does this mean for buyers? I had aimed for a March/April personal purchase. Should I re-evaluate my timeline?

This is good news. I am in the market since last month, and the unavailability of my spec's what's been putting me off. I have readjusted my expectation to make the purchase...hopefully...by end of year. I do want to wrap it up this year in order to apply for the sales tax deduction. The prospects of accomplishing this goal just seem to have turned a little rosier.

They are probably not going to put incentives on the Prius when there is still a demand shortage on them

A billion dollars! Wow! That's as much as GM spent building, then lobbying against building the EV1 ... bet they wish THEY could still throw $$$ around like that now days, in stead of having the Feds run their business.

I too am waiting to see what this means for the Prius. Probably nothing but one can hope. I know CT has a sales tax incentive for buying a hybrid anyone know if there is a federal tax credit of any kind?
