Just wondering, will that sway bar work on a non-touring Prius? Is that just the upgraded sway bar (part of the touring suspension) from the non-touring version? Also, how hard is it to install..what tools? Is a lift needed?

Yes it will fit a non touring car. This bar is ~1mm thicker than the bar on a non touring Prius. It is attached with 2 bolts, basic hand tools should be fine(and a torque wrench). A lift is not needed, however, a jack and jack stands makes it easier.

    Hi Paul,

It's a deal. Sold. I'm clear across the country in Salem, OR. Is that OK. with you? I assume you noticed some change with the touring bar, just not as much as you wanted. I have a 2005, package 1. A little less roll and a little less under steer would be fine with me. I just don't want to make it ride much harder (even on one wheel bumps) because I use my car like a long distance cruiser.

    Thanks, Dan

P.S. Contact me about payment. I'll send you my old fashioned land line number.

Off-topic, but I wasn't aware that TRD made a swaybar for the Prius - did you use the one that fits the Corolla or Matrix - I think one of those fits the Prius...

They don't, it's the Corolla/Matrix bar. The front bar fits the Prius also.
