Trying to clean up a couple of scratches on hood of my 2005 package 4 Driftwood Pearl. Buffed them out so only a bit of light primer was showing in bottom of scratch. when I applied touch up paint I got from dealer it was much lighter than the car's finish stands out like a sore thumb. I'm going to have to carefully sand this off. Is there a better source of touch up paint that matches better? PS: A friend painted the touch up on before I could use the toothpick method-used too much.
Somebody told me and it seems to work , that if you let the first coat dry and do it again it will match better.
