New to the Prius world & got a generic OBDII reader & bought TorquePro.

I note that at all speeds, the speed reported by TP is 2mph lower than that shown on the dash. Which is accurate?

I remember, about 15 years ago, when I owned a Dodge Sprinter (actually made by Mercedes at a plant in Duseldorf), that the speed reported by the dash was ALSO higher than actual speed, although I found that out when I asked a cop what his radar was showing him after I passed him.

Is this an industry-wide sort of thing?

I think it's legislation; they're trying to get people to slow down, want to ensure the speedo reads slightly high.
