    A few subtle inaccuracies in the report, but it's ok... Good to see on the front page of cnn.com, but it still seems like the report is saying "hey, look at these freaks!" instead of "let's all become hypermilers."

    The reporter seemed to imply that the guy's car is a PHEV conversion, but it looked to me like he was plugging in a block heater. :rolleyes:

    He, 108_Shogun@Nagoya, is using the engine block heater everyday.
    Anyway, he is doing pretty well, 34 continuous over 1000 miles/tank.
